I'd consider swapping one of those beads out for a Nexus or shower or drum.

Beads like flow too, so probably better off on the skimmer line, rather than the bottom drain.

You might want to turn your blade off in the winter so I'd consider some pond returns.

IMO Bead filters are not suitable on their own without separating the solids out first, they're going to block with shyte and need cleaning far too often. Ideal to run a drum then bead/s, and consider return to pond via a bakki shower.

Doing it right first time will save money and work in the long run.

Thanks for all the advise ! looked at Drum filters but to expensive for me right now
So a change of plan to get this project started. going to reduce the pond size to a 3m x 3m x 2 m deep puddle calc 3960 gal from 18m3 LOL all underground with 4 inch insulation, 1 x 4" bottom drain, feeding EA Sieve for mech filtration , going into an EA 30 bead for biological, 110w UV and then through a 7 kw air source heat pump set to 20 deg to grow on the smaller fish i have ordered. returning to pond middle/ bottom. Skimmer pumping to blade

Sounds more sensible.
Sieve and bead is better. Ideally sieve, bead and nexus, if you are going down that route. If you are economising, using the broadest sense of the word,. I'd go no more than 3000 gallons (one bottom drain) and nexus only.
Leave some contingency to add the bead to the skimmer line, when funds allow.

Have a look at the Quality Nishikigoi YouTube channel. He builds loads of ponds based on that principle.

You won't need the insulation if you're below ground.
If cost is an issue, that will help.
