    Noob Alert

    Hi

    Clearly new to the forum.....

We have run small koi ponds in our garden for 15 or so years, but after recently moving house am landscaping the garden to incorporate a new block built pond - still modest in size at 1400 gallons.

Our old pond used a straightforward pump fed box filter set-up, which served us well, but have now built in a bottom drain in the new pond. I'm looking for advice, help and ideas as we onto the next stage of the build of fibre glassing and setting up the filtration.

    Cheers

    Simon

Welcome along - have a read of the previous pond builds, plenty of ideas in there for you.. should you be stuck, there's a multitude of advice waiting to be spoken.

What are you initial plans regarding filtration?

    Thanks.

Aqua Forte drum into an Eazypod.....have also built in a skimmer, with a plan to pump that off to a separate filter and water feature. I was going with just the Eazypod, but from reading around it may not be best the option on its own.

I'm restricted by height of the filter area
