    Welcome,
    nice pond btw

i'm not in lincolnshire, though my parents moved back from there 5 years ago.
but our plan is to sell up and buy a bungalow there in a couple of years, if i leave it any longer i won't have the energy left to build another pond lol

    Here's your new house.......

Only know about it because a work mate showed me a shortlist of properties he was considering as he is thinking of moving to Boston and commuting down from there, as he can get so much more for his money. He has no interest in ponds/fish, just has 4 kids and getting 5 bedroom houses in or around London for this kind of money is a non-starter so he's considering the long distance commute option:

When I saw the pond and the double garage and the cellar type room for grow-on ponds I was sold! My dream house in every way.

not bad bang for the buck either

property prices are very keen especially in north lincolnshire.
we can sell up, buy a decent 3 bed detached bungalow 15 mins from the coast, and still bank 150k to reinvest.

means we could both be retired in a couple of years.
the trouble with just looking.... is finding a great property and not being ready to buy it

wondered why it was so cheap....
just found the location slap bang between a drainage river (flood risk) and railway line right next to your back window

Doesn't look like a highly used line,
Might end up being a greenway cycle road in the future.
    Would double the value then....

No traction current so only self propelled trains / diesel locos or heritage trains.
