    New to the site

Morning guys hope everyone's well I'm not new to the hobby but over the last 4 yrs I've been out due to personal reasons ,I've now with a new partner and she said I can have another Koi pond 😁😁were in a rented cottage now but long term well permanent .I'm having to go sleeper pond can I run some things past you guys please .
Gravity fed but I'll have to come up outside of outbuilding and go through wall as outbuilding has a very thick concrete base and won't be allowed to dig that up with this be ok ??

Then into Easypod air and returned mid feed

Advise on best skimmer to buy for sleeper pond that will be built on there flat so wider any help appreciated ,that will be returned to either a moving bed or a EA Tempest which would you advise ? Then returned over a blade fitted on raised sleeper part of pond at rear or would a shower be better ??

Sorry for all questions I've always used multi chamber filters wanted to go a diff way this time .Hope you guys don't mind helping out there will be delay in build as I'm laid up with fractured knee joint many thanks again Carl .

Welcome mate sorry about the knee.
What sizes are you aiming for ans stocking levels ? For best help filtration wise need to know what we dealing with
As for bottom drain pipe work as long as its below water level all should be good. Are you going for a half dug in half out pond?. Only down side I can see is pipe restrictions as you will have to dog leg it up along and up again be a pain if ever needed to rod.

Hello Johnathon I'm aiming for 10ft x7ft x 4 ft half and half hopefully mate ,stocking levels prob 10 to 12 koi ,rodding problem I understand that it's maybe the chance I will have to take only way round the concrete floor in outbuilding mate .

How far from out building nice slope of pipe work rather than tight bends

Maybe try a d build a T joint or union jointbto be able to remove a bit of pipe on one of the bends or something so you can get a rod in further down (hopefully that makes sense)

    What back on topic?

Filtration is a combination of budget and space I think. Running drums, moving beds and a shower on my pond and really happy with water clarity and parameters. Got a nexus 200 on my grow on and having put filter floss in the outlet that’s doing pretty good too and bought secondhand wasn’t a lot of money
