    aeration

    Morning Guys

    Can I ask if its right to carry on with an aeration pump during the winter months?

    Yes it is. In fact, if you covered the pond for insulation purposes, air would be absolutely essential.

    Cheers Feline. I was just talking to dbs about if it's OK to lower the air during the winter, and you have just answered that question for me. So I'll keep the air going as the pool is now covered.
    And while I'm on the subject, would it be better to lower the pump flow rate for the winter to help the koi rest while in torpor.
