Nichole
Help needed. Partner passed away a few weeks ago. I have a large pond with lots of fish in it. Don't know what to do with any aspect of this. Any help would be appreciated.

So sorry to hear of your loss. I'm sure we'll be able to help/advise. Maybe let us know which part of the country you are in.

So sorry to hear that . Where are you based and am sure some one would be able to help keeping distance of course. What are your main concerns. Filter maintenance? Water testing , pond up keep

Based around Great Yarmouth. The pond is too big for me to manage. Rang a couple of koi suppliers they say it's to late in the season to sell on, not sure where to go from here.

Hi Nicole.
Really sorry to hear about your loss. Must be very hard having to deal with everything whilst grieving.
If it's a well established pond then it'll probably be able to operate by itself without any intervention for some time before problems occur.
Other than feeding the fish - which I'd recommend going easy on for now (don't worry the fish can go some time without food) - keeping the filters clean is probably the first thing that'll need doing.
Maybe take a few photos of the filters for your pond and I'm sure someone can tell you what needs doing to keep them clean, until you know what you are going to do with the pond and fish.

If its a complete pond shut down that you feel is needed fish are still selling and moving on temp is a problem but should be fine for a couoke more weeks . We can help with advice but we really need to see whats what . Fish and filter wise m either loads of pictures of better yet a pair of eyes if any one else is near by with a bit of knowledge. Grief is hard would halfing the pond help you just before every things gos . Run a small pond half the size with a few select fish that your partner loved more sort of holding a memory . Am sorry if I've upset you if am out of line please accept my apologies and tell me to shut up

Nichole, I appreciate things must be very painful, bewildering and overwhelming for you right now. But do you have a friend, relative, neighbour or colleague that could help out In your hour of need?
I'm sure people will want to rally round you and help out where possible - and not just with the pond.
If so, then we'll still be able to provide advice for them if you can send some photos.
And it will probably only involve spraying down some brushes, matting or possibly even just opening a valve and topping up the pond occasionally. So shouldn't be too much of a burden on whoever you can get to help out.
Whatever you do, I wish you all the best.
