As most of you more experienced guys will know... when rushing because it’s still wet... screwing is almost impossible to find the hole!

The bottom drain & skimmer & return went like a dream... However I have made a bit of a mess of the window frame so will need to add some additional work to ensure it will be water tight, its on me I rushed & cut before thinking but still expect it to come good with a lot of sealant

It’s NOT conventional but I’m confident it will do the job!

Newb!
Finally the replacement UV Evo 25w arrived, Can’t complain as I got it FREE from Bradshaws when I purchased my Eazy Pod!

*If that is of interest for anyone about to purchase an Eazy Pod their current offer is for a pump but they were glad to offer an alternative in my caseLast edited by Slays; 08-09-2020 at 11:26 AM.

My plays to fill the pond were held up because I installed the skimmer but forgot to remove access pipe to bring skimmer level to 75mm below water level... it would probably still be ok but I’ve ordered a straight connector and will cut it down to size tomorrow, that will then allow me to finally put the glass in, then boom

I notice you have a rubber boot on the pipe inside the pond. You need to cover the stainless steel band bolt and end or they will tear your fish to pieces. A band of pond liner tied right around the band in a knot can work.

Running heater at low temp?
Covering the pond with polycarb should be enough to stop water temps dipping below 6C for the most...
