    Starting over

Like so many, I have come across the forum as a consequence of a Google search, found bags of the information I was looking for by trawling relevant threads as a guest. I find it interesting that internet links within posts work for guests but none of the photo content which is linked but not embedded in the posts. No big deal – I am now a happy new member with access to all the best content

I built ‘our’ pond as part of a major dig out and retaining wall construction project around 15 years ago and it ran very happily until October 2017. During an extended holiday a major ph crash wiped out the whole thing. I commissioned a water analysis from Syd / Manky Sanke and to say I was chastened, nay, guilt ridden by his very comprehensive report is an understatement

I refer to ‘our’ pond above as SWMBO is particularly keen to reinstate it so she will be (obeyed that is!) and your collective knowledge will be invaluable – pond technology has sure moved on in 15 years.
New thread in respect of refurbishment to be posted in due course when I have some pics to post (I know how much everyone likes photos).

    Jim
