    I'd put a cover over the multi-bay bio so that the algae doesn't dominate it. It should look tea colour rather than green! Fixable but will naturally take a little time to colonise.

    update guys ive gone for the nexus 220 will be up and running tomorrow, will leave the multibay running for a few weeks along side it see how i get on, thanks all for the help
