Has any one cut a 110mm whole in a multibay bay is there any thing I need to be careful with?

Oh yes and make sure your hole saw is reasonably sharp or you will burn your way through not cut your way through the plastic which can quite often give you an odd shaped hole and you'll need to clean more plastic off of one side of the hole if it burns it's way through.
You could also jigsaw the hole out as it's a decent size but will need more cleaning out and correcting to get a nice round hole compared to a hole saw.
Unless you already have the correct size hole saw they are quite expensive to buy at that size, could be £20 to £30 just for the cutter then you'll need the arbour as well and they aint cheap either.
Shame you are so far away from me as I've got the bits already.

Just had a quick look on screwfix and although this one is a cheap brand and slightly bigger than you need it will give you an idea

I normally use CK, Starrett or Bosch but if you are only going to need it for one or two holes then these should be OK if you can find the 110mm version that is. I only had a quick look OK.

You can get a 110mm or 111mm cutter but they are more difficult to find and screwfix or toolstation don't appear to sell them so may need to try an electrical wholesalers or plumbers merchants? But the prices will be higher than they are at screwfix and toolstation I think you'll find. But if you want a better fit you may need to pay the extra?

Just be careful when cutting anything with a hole saw when it's cold weather as plastics have a tendency to split or shatter.

For a 110 cut I normally use a jigsaw with a fine blade ok if your useing a tank connecter.

Just be careful cutting any plastic in cold weather OK as a jigsaw is going to make a lot of vibration when cutting. As John said use a fine blade too. The metal cutting ones are what I'd be going for. Always cut safely within the lines and then you can clean and tidy the hole without making it too big.
Good luck Aj

Might hold off a month then. I'll just drag the filter out a bit dig the whole ready for it and do as much as pos. Don't wanna move the fish out the main pond yet anyway to be fair. Just wanna get all gear and as much done as possible if I can keep the fish in temp pond for 48 hours I'll be a happy man just while sealant sets on bd
