I find an Easypod doesn’t boil if the water level is too low.

Alternatively have you tried removing the media and checking none of the air pipes have become disconnected? If not try removing the bottom air ring and make sure the air holes are all clear.

Lastly I assume you’ve checked the air pump is producing good pressure?

Depending on how long you have had the Eazypod you may find the bottom of the pod has built up with muck. I know mine needs a clean out yearly.

I can’t think of anything else.

    hi
yes had my arm in cleaned out gunge from bottom. then cleaned half of the media in pond water. then tried it again no better.
pulled off the pipe leading from top of control box set to clean you can hear air pump but if you put your thumb over the outlet there is no resistance what so ever. so i connected a stand alone air pump and the media boiled away merrily.
so i conntacted E A who said go through you supplier so far no reply to email and can no longer find his website.

Sounds like you have the Auto Eazy pod it would have helped if you said that from the start so either the in built air pump is not pumping [ diaphragm need replacing] or air pipe has come off inside. You will get little or no help off EA they are well known for there lack of after sales service i don't know the seller of it but if they are no longer around then you are stuffed bar having a go at fixing it your self or finding someone to fix it

To be fair Pug, he did say it was an auto. I wasnít aware this was such a thing!

No idea on the dealer approach, but EA seem to list spares on their website, including a full replacement pump assuming itís the right oneÖ.

i'll give it till tomorrow for a reply. then try E A again if they dont budge. i'll take out the air pump from control box see if my spare 60 L/ M air pump fits and hard wire it in. if it does not fit i'll sit besides the filter fit a longer section of air pipe and hard wire into control box.

well the outcome is . EA say go through your supplier. the supplier no longer trading but said he accuired it through -------- koi. they suggested everything id already done then said to remove pump and check diaphrams this i did and being honest told him diaphrams looked ok but pump had no strength too it. his reply in that case i'll have to pass to area rep so four days on and not a word.
so this morning i've hard wired a stand alone pump into to the control box and all is good.
so as peps have posted EA gear good, warranty cliams forget it.

That’s a shame Rolo, at least you have a workaround and made contact with EA. Hopefully they will come good.

    hi
to be honest was going to fit a 60/L pump but pump oulet nozzle was too small for the air pipe into pod. so fitted an 80/L there is no doubt it gets a good clean. even if they offer me a new pump think it would go into the spares locker as a back up.
duff pump removed and cable cut about 4 inch from pump then a small hole drilled into side of control box and cable fed through hole into a chocbox strip connector box along with cable from pump. chocbox stuck to side of control box with double sided tape jobs a gooden.
cost £2:20 chocbox and strip connectors from Wickes
