    Hi

Welcome to the forum - really friendly bunch and very knowledgeable. How long have you been keeping koi - I got back into it five years ago after having a twenty year break due my son jumping in with the fish luckily I was at hand to pull him out Mate built a pond and while I watched I got the bug again - I made all the usual mistakes with the 1st pond and then after a year ended up biting the bullet and getting a builder in to build a proper pond with bottom drains / skimmer / bakki shower - I just need to save up for a sieve at some point

    Happy ponding

Hi, I recently built my pond with concrete blocks (440x215x100m) using a 4to1 mix laid flat. You can also use H blocks reinforced with rebar. Allow for a concrete base and then calculate the amount of blocks required.
