I think the way your cats lay on their backs like that is more common than you think as all of our cats have done and still do that and we've had both male and female cats. I think it is a sign they feel totally safe in their surroundings.

You're absolutely correct The main difference with the Ragdoll breed is they have an interesting, and somewhat controversial, genetic background that gives them the propensity to be very floppy - hence their name! When you pick them up they go totally limp and just hang. I can mold mine like playdough They are genuinely very laid back in nature and tend to be more dog-like in their interactions with their owners. Mine will run around after us in the garden and retrieve balls. Of all the cats I've had these have been the most fun and the most friendly to anyone coming in the house. If you chase our cats they just flop and roll right in front of you. Both these traits are another reason they are not free roaming outside my gardens!
