    Drum mesh cleaning

    Hi just wondering what everybody’s using to clean the bio film off the mesh on their drum?

    I've used cement/brick cleaner acid in the past. It works very well but you do need to be careful not to contaminate the pond of course. Some people use white vinegar. There are I believe, drum cleaning fluids available from some of the manufacturers.
    7500 litres
    Filtreau combi with uv.

    Mine is tap water so the chlorine cleans it. Otherwise chloramine T will do the same job
    3070 Gallons. 4" Bottom Drain and Skimmer. Draco Solum 16 Drum. Anoxic Filtration. Air lift returns.

    brick acid works fine for me
