Big Drum, big anoxic filter. Air lift returns. Sit back and enjoy the pond.

If it's too late to include the air returns, swap out air lifts for pumps.
...which would probably be easier if you want to add heat later, anyway.

If you haven't got the space for anoxic. Do a moving bed after the drum.

...put proper ball valves on everything!

my new pond is almost the same i have two smaller blades that are turned off at the moment. pond is not heated so water crashing out of the blades would lower water temp making it even colder than it is already,
water blade and lighting i can turn on by remote control from the house a little surprise gift from the pond builders.

Not saying this is anything special, but if you want to see multiple filter options, I built this: https://youtu.be/WAnaXzw3UrM

Asides from swapping out a drum for a sieve

The next option is usually a nexus off the bottom drain, but with two drains, that's two nexus. Plus something like a bead and or a shower off the skimmer line.

That's all expensive, but could be done in stages. If you have the budget, start with a drum.

Technically all Koi pond filter options perform the same job. What you choose comes down to budget, how much space you have and how much routine cleaning/maintenance you are happy doing.
It's also important that you size it right for the fish load and the turnover you plan to use (both now and in 5 years time when all the koi have grown).

Every system has its pros and cons

With no budget restrictions a drum maybe the way to go, for a more budget friendly option I really like a sieve/nexus combo, if you can make it work height wise a gravity fed sieve pumped to nexus can work well

It’s going to be a fairly substantial/large footprint setup for that size pond either way
