Oase compact drum
I am in process of building a 6200 litre pond with bottom drain
Looking at putting oase drum filter on compact M
I have read that it self cleans and dumps water would I be to let it do its work and then top the pond back up every week? Or would that not work
I seem to think that it will use around 90 litres of water a day so end of the week say 700 litres then could I fill that back up end of the week?

You will want a trickle in or auto top system.
2660 Gallons. 4" Bottom Drain and Skimmer. Draco Solum 16 Drum. Anoxic Filtration. Air lift returns.

As the water level drops the drum will clean more, using even more water, so yeah more regular top ups will be needed.
I top up over 100 litres a day in the height of summer and heavy feeding.
