    Draco combi not working

    All,

I've finally got round to installing my draco combi that I got secondhand before Christmas. It was pump fed so I've flipped the float switch round and placed it in the clean side of the drum. However, all is not well. When I turn on the drum it washes for c4mins then enters failsafe mode after which it fails to wash when levels drop. I've tried the float switch in a few different permissions with the same result. I suspect its nakered and not sending a signal when levels fall.
    Anyone got any thoughts?
Photos show it washing (blue lights on) and then when it's entered failsafe mode 20240223_165054.jpg20240223_165318.jpg

All sorted. Got the multimeter out and it was the float switch. Just ordered a new on for £4 (to avoid the koi tax).
I've just removed for now and set it to clean every 45 mins.

Got a link for the float switch you bought? I'll probably get a couple spares for that money.

I've emailed Draco a couple of times and been open about the fact it's a second hand drum and they've been happy to help with trouble shooting and parts each time (albeit plus the Koi tax plus the VAT), but have sorted me out every time even when its meant not selling me anything.

    Here you go.

Just note I've not fitted them yet. They're m16 so will fit in the original housing (with the flailed end). A blob of silicon will waterproof the lot

Just a note on this one. Switches arrived and have been fitted and work fine. They are m16 so fit the original housing.

So if you need a replacement these are the ones to get. For that price it's worth having a couple in as spares for when yours finally stops working

    Good one there mate.
I made up new longer pipe work so that the float could be lowered more as it wont go off as much,I am tight

So made two and spare can be fitted immediately.
