    Filtreau drum seal problems

    I have a Filtreau drum which generally works well, but it has started leaking from the seal on the drive shaft from the motor (during the wash cycle only at the moment). I know the seal is something that will need replacing but I only replaced it 4 months ago. Surely it should last a few years? Has anyone experienced the same or got advice on how to overcome this problem? Thanks

    Perhaps a bit of silicone lubricant would give it more longevity?
