Thread: Who makes the Aqua Sieve that Coastal Koi sell?

Just thinking ahead a bit as I'm probably going to put a sieve in front of my bead filter once I get the money.

I've looked at the Aqua Sieve on Coastal Koi's website but can't seem to find anyone else that sell them. I'm looking at the Aqua Sieve large 2 as it's not as tall as the Aqua Sieve large but is wider which looks like it could work as a retro fit option. Just want to see the full spec of it on the makers website to see if it is actually a possible solution later on.

Looking at the branding it's not Aqua Forte and I don't think it's Air Aqua either but I have seen the branding / logo on other things.

Nice one Dave I was beginning to think it could have been their own make or brand when I couldn't find them anywhere else. They look quite similar to the ultra sieves (only going by the one photo of each on their website) which are Aqua Forte? I think? Not sure if they do a similar version - large but short if you know what I mean.

queni koi were all over FB saying they were introducing their own brand of DC pumps last year...
but they would only be someone elses pumps rebadged...

Makes sense as basically a sieve is a sieve and there's very little room to make it totally different and still make it work efficiently.

The pumps are so obviously the same manufacturer just with different colours etc for different makes I've got a 10K lph Aqua Forte variable speed pump and it's identical to the Pond Expert and the Aqua Eco although that's a 20K lph. The EA 20K lph vari pump looks very slightly different as in the speed control box is a different design slightly but the pump looks pretty much the same as the Aqua Eco 20K lph pump. It's not the pumps or the controllers that effect the prices it's the sticker with the name on that changes the prices isn't it lol
