Thread: Filtreau Drum Motor & Gearbox

Anyone know where I can get one from tomorrow. Just noticed mine has given up turning. May just be cogs but don't want to waste time taking it apart to find out I still need a motor so will install a new one and take the old apart and use for standby spare if of use.

I don't know how Koi shops stay in business, customer service all very random.

Anyway, i got one delivered yesterday but it's slightly different than the one I'm replacing. All the holes are in the right place and it's the same essentially except the but on the back seems the opposite way around. Is it a modified part?

Hi, I’ve just replaced the gearbox on my Filtreau drum filter and mine was also slightly different. The new one was the same as your new one. It worked fine - just make sure you torque up the shaft nut to the correct torque 65nm or the drum will not turn properly.
