Thread: Vietnam RDF

    Vietnam RDF

Hi I was wondering what to look out for when purchasing unbranded RDF? Obviously smaller companies lack reviews but this company seems to be promising. Can provide spare parts, UV protection and stainless steel parts? Is there any telltale signs you'd avoid? Seems an RDF is a simple build when it comes down to it.

Looks a decent build but in Vietnam?
It's getting spare parts mate and quickly as drums can break down as in all moving parts.

Thays why I went for Dracodrum ,made 15mins from me.
How much are they any idea?

Yep I spoke with the builder and he said hed send parts with it if I need. His communication has been good, but only been around for less than a year. Just would hate to be continually replacing stuff.

For the largest model its only $1200 for a Draco here Id pay $4700 so a huge difference.

It's a hard one as every big company started small at some point to only as people toke the chance did they have the chance to grow.

I don't have a drum but believe if you can have a spare on the shelf it's always gunna help . Spare float switch, motor , belts ect

my missus old director moved there 10 odd years ago to set up a new branch of the business, and made a loss every year.
they now have offices in nearly all the EU country's and the U.S. but Austrailia is probabaly going to close due to the exhorbitantly high labour rates...
it's just too expensive to make it viable...
