Thread: Air curtain

    Air curtain

Was thinking of making an air curtain for my pond. Prefer the less obtrusive view and surface movement it creates.

had anyone done this? Can they show photos of theirs working and let me know what they used. I was thinking of using the perforated air hose eco-filtration sell. Will this be the best stuff?

I like the japanese breeders style air curtain too.
Ian jenkins has one running on his pond detailed in a rasta koi youtube video last week.

He got the japanese air bars from koi collection.

    Thanks for the replies guys.

the air bars cost a fortune. 100 each and id need 3.

and davec’s method doesn’t suit what i want

definitely want a perforated hose type just need to know if there’s better than what eco filtration offer

My pal makes them and i think they work out at a tenner each,I will ask him which perforated pipe he uses.He gets it from Amazon, and buys the fittings in bags of ten due to postage costs

Why not use a garden irrigation hose, basically a hose with lots of holes and a spongy outer, cheap to buy in long lengths.
