    Kh buffer

Hi my kh is 4 out of the tap and 3 in the pond with a pH of 7.5
Dosing says 50mil to 340ltrs to raise the kh up by 3,4 my pond is 10,000ltrs that's nearly 1.5 kg is that right?

Not sure what you are dosing with, a lot of people just use sodium bicarbonate. But what ever you use make the change slowly - 1kh max every day or so until you get to the level you want. The koi need time to slowly adjust to the kh changes.
(The only time to ignore this advice is if you are treating a pH crash)

Add bicarb to the pond to effect, but a good safe starting point is 20g sodium bicarbonate per 1000 litres per day until KH is at the target level,
In layman’s terms, chuck a mug of bicarb in each day and retest the KH. Repeat daily until it’s enough
