Nexus levels
Hello, I use a nexus 200 after a drum as a bio chamber and was wondering if any of you would know why the outer chamber would be running about 6 inches lower than the inner chamber, the pump is exactly the same as it’s always been, I’m trying to put a photo up but not sure how to do it,

Try unlocking where the water enters the outer chamber from the middle of the easy section. If you reach down the outer chamber you should be able to find the small inlets, I unblocked mine with a small screwdriver. I like to backflush on every other clean, I empty the nexus, leave gate valve shut and pull the stand pipe out and allow water to enter the easy from the outer chamber, I believe this helps keep the outlets clean. If they are clear your pump may be too fast
hope this helps
Ian

Has the Nexus been back flushed, the holes from the inner ring to the outer ring can block over time?
How you do it depends on if it’s pump or gravity fed, hopefully gravity fed.
This time of year the hard way is the way Ianb suggests, up to your armpits in water this time of year is no fun. if you can keep the water in the outer ring and feel down the inner side of the outer ring for the holes that Ianb commented on, they are 5mm at best, with the K1 floating it’s easier, but as I said, this time of your it’s no fun.

All done, decided to put a hosepipe with a water jet on, it cleared the crap out, dropped the inner chamber by 2” and raised the outer by 6”. Yes there was a bit of crap but the drum should get rid of it in the next run,
