New filter
Hi all,
I’ve managed to pick up a decent second hand eazypod, I’ve pp’d the k1 and gave it a thorough clean. Gaz (aurora koi) has advised running it alongside the pressure filter I currently have, so my question is the order, is it:
a) pump -> eazypod -> pressure filter, or
b) pump -> pressure filter -> eazypod
Or doesn’t it matter. Thought I’d ask on here cos Gaz is probably getting sick of all my questions

Hi members, I have just joined and have exactly the same scenario. I had an 850 gallon pond gravity fed but suffered a leak which we couldn't find so went for a liner and pressurised system, which left the Easypod redundant. As my pump is a Superfish 8000 running a Spinclean 30000 for only 850 gallons I thought running as follows- Pump - 55 UV - Spinclean - easy pod (raised above pond height) back to pond.
I have 17 koi ( overstocked I know) varying from 8" up to 14" and thought the extra filtration would help. Current water is crystal clear and happy fish. I remember an annoying thing about the Pod was when cleaning the K1 often flowed over and ended up in the pond, any thoughts and ideas much appreciated.
