Dropped the sand filter
Prior to yesterday I was running 2 x 0.75 hp pumps on my 4500 gallon pond 24/7.
Yesterday I decided to stop using the pump that was feeding the sand filter so now I have one 0.75 pump on 24/7 feeding the biological filter and baki shower. The other filter is the Dracodrum that is gravity feed. Water quality still looks good and the fish don’t seem to have noticed anything.
Will update in a months time if anything changes
