    Midi sieve to bio chamber

Hi guys need some advice I want to run gravity to midi sieve then to bio chamber but bio chamber is smaller in size than sieve height I'm guessing both have to be at water level with pond does The levels have to be adjusted by the sieve anyone have pics that run sieve to bio chamber or any advice many thanks (always been multibay old school )

I may be wrong, but I think you need to run a pump after the sieve then after the bio chamber as the sieve will fill to the top with water otherwise so won't work properly.

I've been told you can't balance out 2 pumps on same filtration mate

As Samp said you have to have a pump after the sieve.

So I guess the best way is to have the bio chamber pump fed from the sieve and then return to the pond by gravity (rather than another pump due to balancing problems).

I have a sieve as a pre-filter to the EA Microbead, in the winter it’s fine but in the summer the amount of shite that is in the bead, the sieve gets a lot but a lot gets through the sieve.
