Profi Combi Large Filtration Gavity fed

I'm just at the stage where I'm about to start plumbing in my Filter.

Has any one got any pics of the front of their filter showing how they have plumbed in from the bottom drain to the filter ( valves aswell) and purge valve etc as well as how they have dealt with the wastes.

    Thanks

I didn't use ball or slide valve inputs to my Profidrum Combi Bio so unfortunately can't be of much help to you.
I used an Inlet chamber and stand pipe valves for my inlet control.
For the waste, standard 110mm ring seal fittings slide straight on.
    Good luck with the filter.
My DIY ponds from 1988 until present day.

    Thanks

So you purge through a ball valve. ? I always prefer to purge through a slide valve.

Is the second in from a skimmer or something similar ?

When we set this system up it was our belief that no matter how good a gate valve is it will let by eventually because of the pressure on it holding back the pond water, my gate valve will is purely for isolating the drum before purging.
I used the second 4”inlet as a trickle out reduced with rubber boots and also can set the level of my pond. If you want more pics of the trickle out,or anything else let me know.
