i dont even have a mobile phone borrowed my mrs phone, then she had to send it me via facebook then i save it then add to youtube
cant express in words how pleased i am with this setup, would of made a combi but simply didnt have the space this is all tightly fitted literally made to fit to the mm

my internal drum is possibly bigger than the biggest drums on the market right now, dia 550mm length 480mm
flow rates could exceed 100,000 litres an hour on the right pond with enough inlets and outlets fitted can be easily added at a later date, which i plan to do, when i extend my pond in the next 10 years to possibly 6 - 8000 gallons from 3000 gallons i have now.
currently running a 15k and 10k pump both on full flow barely tell that the water is flowing though the drum but it is of course
the water pressure from the cleaning pump is that high now, that the water mist from the jets is warm from the friction generated as the water blasts through the mesh screen
business hasnt started yet, no orders so far.
thanks for your kind words, appreciate it very much .
look at this one, for £4,650 i could build it for less than £2,000

give a take £1000 - £1100 mate i will always over spec the systems for my customers , so for instance make the bio chamber larger than needed, one of the common complaints of branded combis is the bio side is often on the small side for the drum /pond, and i over size the drum dia to give maximum surface area to allow higher flow rates than other brands so my customers can really utilise the system to its full potential rather than buy from a another competitor and say a few years down the line when your fish have grown and stocks are too large the drum and bio can no longer keep up with the demands placed upon it.
i only use high end motors like parvalux and industrial drive systems, with a one way clutch fitted so you can manually turn the turn for maintenance ie cleaning or changing your mesh.
all spares i can supply as well very cheaply and most of the parts are generic off the shelf parts , the only parts that aint i specially manufacture myself, but those wont ever fail.
you'd have to see it in person to understand and appreciate what i mean and the workmanship that has gone into this build.
which your welcome to visit anytime.
thanks

That sounds good lol. A mini system for a qt grow on. And a drop in for an easy pod.
Would be good. Look how many people have easy pods.
Would that small drum be an all in one.
With bio tank.
I have easy pod then 2x times 100ltr water butts for my qt grow on for bio. Grogg and jap matt.
I looked at the draco mini. I thought that was to expensive to replace what I have now on the system.

mine will be cheaper than than draco mini by around £300 - £400 cheaper and will have a bio side suitable for upto 75 litres of media .
my filters will all look similar to each other just scaled up or down.
yes fred would be an all in one. but likely without UV but a submerged UV could be plumbed in .
ive got the easypod complete, but its too bulky to fit where i want it , and has alot of limitations not least the stupidly small amount of media it can hold for such a large filter . meaning often additional filtration is needed

Hi Steve, SIZE of your pond, stock level , how many inlets and outlets and the sizes you require . if you require them in a certain position to aid installation and the size of the space you have for this filter. and what system you want drum/combi or individual drum and bio
and if you collecting or wish for delivery plus your location from derby .
thanks

Hi, you've done a brilliant job on the drum filter. I'm just starting out on my own and wondered where you sourced your spray nozzles & filter mesh (and micron if poss). I have seen some on amazon but only comes in 30cm widths and I'm looking to make a 500 drum. Cheers, David
