    What do you think

    Just see a YouTube video were a bloke used charcoal lumps in a old filter to clear brownish water due to tanning from leafs, and water went clear as gin, what do you think would it work

    Activated charcoal.

    Tannin is very small 0.5 micron, so the activated carbon filters out the small particles of tannin. IIRC its down the electrical attraction rather than blocking up.

    carbon is used in the refining of sugar to give the sugar that sparkly white finish. so if it can do that it can do much about anything
    5000g, Drum Filter/Gravity, + MBB, Skimmer-Sieve-Shower.
