Hi
I’ve had one running for a year on my pond.
No major problems.
The wash pump is run from the clean side of the drum so requires regular top ups. You could connect to mains but you would need a header tank to connect the wash pump to.
I have read on other threads on this forum that some people have had problems with the gearbox cogs wearing down and requiring replacing.
When I first set it up I had to adjust the wash sensor down to reduce the number of washes.
I run 20k lph through it normally with no issues. Any higher and it would start to increase the number of washes per hour thus needing more regular top ups.
Hope that helps
Cheers
Ady
