    Spindrifter bottom drain

Just trying to get my head round how these work? Presumably the airline pipe isnít filled with water as it would go stagnant? So is it blanked of at the bottom drain and filter housing end with a length of airline running through?

Hi there My Spindrifter uses 1" pipe which runs along side the 4"bottom drain pipe. at either end is a stainless steel barbed hosetail one that fits to my air pump and the other goes to the airated dome via some 10mm hose in the sump. There is no airline tube running through.

Hi, new here "hello", I see you give a link to Altaquatics. Thinking of purchasing a filter from them, do you know if they are a reliable company, thanks in advance.
    Sorry to hi-jack your conversation.
