    Diy bakki shower

    Hey all, as promised once built will show you all.

    measurements

    100cm x 32cm x 68cm

    2 tier

    made from 18mm plywood scraps I had from building an indoor koi vat

    joints sealed with pu18

    Personally I would recommend BHM as that is what I use. I would estimate 10kg per tray - so two boxes

    is that bacteria house media ? just 2 boxes worth is that all.
    do you know quantity required for 3000gallon pond? its an additional filter though mate. hoping it makes a major difference.

    Yes mate - Bacteria House Media around £150(ish) per box.

    It don’t sound a lot but it’s light and bulky so likely to fill the tray quickly- plus it’s easier to buy another than send any back...

    what is it in addition to?

    my drum filter, bio chamber with mixed media K1 75 litres, K1 micro 50 litres and 75 litres hel x 13 and econobead eb50

    my water parameters are always spot on but just now want to improve water clarity/ oxygenation and quality of the water
