    Air pump for Nexus 220

Hello, I'm getting a nexus 220 in a few weeks time. What air pumps do people use with them? I know they recommend an Evolution Aqua 75 but at about £160 I wonder if there is a cheaper version. Thank you.

Assuming you will increase the K1 volume in the future (most do as you stock the pond) then I would go for 100litre pump, you can always T extra air off to the pond if bubbling too much. The pumps Andy have above are good value or I have Jebao ar pumps which haven't missed a beat:

Running an EA75 on the Nexus, must be ten years old now and EA95 shared between two bottom drains for nine years.
Only yesterday ordered new diaphragms for them, giving them a refurb.

all my pumps where ea pumps.
I am replacing with jabeo now as I go along. Nothing against ea pumps.
Being a pensioner now. I cannot afford them. But must admit. They have been good.
