EA Varipump - digits change whilst in operation

I have my new varipump 20000 set to 20% currently but I notice the digits waver - 17-20%. I assume that is the current power consumption or flow rate whilst running?

The varipumps display the wattage being consumed when running.

Thank you - ticking over nicely and using less power than my old pump!

I'm also assuming that given the rotary motors consume more current the the more force they have to apply to overcome when rotating that an increase in digits for a specific set level (ie 20%) indicates the harder the pump is finding to do it's work due to blockages etc.

yes i think your correct that if there was a blockage or obstruction and so the pipe flow was impaired you would see an increase in wattage / power usage for the same % setting as the day before when it was clear - assume that is what you were asking ? cheers Steve.
