andikoi might know this as I'm sure he did it the other way round, putting a 30w bulb in his 55w UV.

Yeah mines the pro clear aswell mate think I'll give it ago cant see the fish at the moment. Found a place on the net doing a kit of bulb quartz and rings delivery 20quid not going to be great quality but at that price I'll take a punt. Only 40p extra 30w to 55w . Theses are about mid water so 2ft give or take

Just cleaned multibay hate that bloody thing haha . Nexus first then who knows . If I was to go down drum root in a year or 2 I would have to install bd and do it properly with would also involve a 1 1/2 foot dig to improve volume then re do insulation and liner so money money money but who knows what will happen

It looks pretty damn clear to my eyes!

Odd thing is, you pay a lot more for the EA 55w over the EA 30w, yet the units are physically identical. I assumed it was different electronics for the different bulbs....maybe its just a con.

EDIT: Scrub that, was looking at Mikes picture by mistake. Johnathan, your water looks shit. And you have a dead tree growing in your pond.

Its probably an old wives tale, but an old workmate said he killed off his neighbours trees by hammering big copper nails into them.
