    Fred just something I was rereading and thought I’d let ya know and attach a pic as we both use the api test kit... my api test kit shows ph as 8.4 which you say yours is around too, but after I posted this I went to andys house and we tested my pond water on he’s test kit and it gave us a result of 7.7 as can be seen in below pic. So I believe the api test kits may test hi! Thought worth mentioning bud. Hope alls well mate! IMG_9252.JPG

    thanks for info Charles. yeah mate I believe its around the 8.0 mark. I always read around 8.2 mate. good to know
