EA reckon 8 weeks but some say it can take 6 months or so to truly mature. I have the same fun with 150ltrs of the damn stuff right now. I think I'm 4 weeks in so I'm still constantly testing and being carful. I have a very slight hint of ammonia and nitrite right now but both still below .25

Dont clean it if you've have added EA gel until it starts to overflow and you have no choice or you will just flush it away. With a Nexus it isn't so bad as I only clean the 20 litres of micro K1 in the centre leaving the rest in the outer Chamber untouched but with a pod you disturb all of your good stuff.

    Eazypod wiring

First issue was that getting the wiring in is extremely difficult because it is going into the bottom of the connector block and there is very little space to reach in and see where the cables are going, so I took the entire black box off the eazypod itself (held on with two screws) and turned it upside down. Wires in under five minutes.

Second issue that the amber cleaning light is on but doing nothing for ten minutes...it took 15-20 minutes to finally come on. Because I kept cutting the power to reset it, it started its cycle all over again. No mention of this in the instructions or from the manufacturer.

So all up and running- thanks for the help chaps.
    Hi Please could you help

I have the photo in the installation manual but not clear where the connections should be

    But just explain :-

    1) Does the incoming mains Live go into the FUSED light brown connector on the board?
    2) Does the mains incoming neutral go into the SAME connection as the BLUE pump connector

    thanks

Anyone got the automatic version and can advise on the electrics? I've been mucking around with it for three hours now and not eating it going. I'm getting power to the main unit, but not the pump
I have traced the wiring and worked out how the eazypod automatic works. Could send you a PDF.

Tried to reply on my mobile but not sure if you got it. Also sent a previous version of the PDF.
I've uploaded my latest. (Version 3) This should help you understand the workings. I had a problem withn the lefthand timer that I've now replace. So all working.
    Regards,
    Steve

Hi whilst this is about Eazy pods, I am due to fill my new pond this weekend.

Where exactly do I fill the water line to in the Eazy pod? I understand when the equipment is turned on this water level will decrease?

    Thanks j

The water level will decrease with the pump running if you are gravity fed, so:
