Just got off the phone with Darren at absolute koi , he said sorry many times and accepted full responsibility for not acting sooner
ive been given a full refund and a bit extra pipes cost £88 but given £100 refund for the experience
to be fair to them they admitted they didnt check it before sending it me as it came in a sealed box from manufacturer like this and wasnt spotted at their end either .
he was tipped off had loads of emails regarding my post lol
well i thought while im on the phone id put a little business proposition his way with my drum filters I can manufacturer and have a exclusive deal with them , he said he would of most likely helped but as they are partners with Profi drums that make stainless drum their would be a potential conflict of interest , might be able to provide other products though
so guys a huge negative post has turned in to a massive positive for me.
had a long chat with Darren and I believe him to be genuinely sorry for what has happened.
is it best if this whole post is taken down as I dont want this to have a negative impact on his business as the problem was resolved. possibly if admins could look at this please .
thank you
mark

It's a pity it took naming and shaming to get a result though.
Sounds like a good result in the end though

I think the thread should stay as it shows both the good and the bad side of things.
Negative reviews are only taken as negatives if the end result is negative as it's how you deal with them that makes the difference if that makes sense?

Agree with you 100% Frim.
Even on eBay, if someone has negative feedback its their response to that feedback which determines whether I'll buy.
It's a shame that it took a post here to resolve, but the thread could be valuable to anyone in a similar situation, or equally those who post they've had a similar situation resolved quickly which may prove it was a genuine oversight.

I agree you carnt just pretend everyone's experiences didn't happen just because he made a token gesture after the truth has emerged about a shoddy way of treating customers, the people who pay his bills, wages, ect it's easy to say it was one that slipped through the net when your aware there's possibly a large impact on your business, I'm glad he resolved your issue but I agree with rs it should stay no as a black mark not to deal with him, but as a review and a record of peoples interactions with this company , Just my opinion

I disagree lol.
Need to read whole thread to get the full context.
Anyone too lazy to read beyond first post simply isn't interested enough for the outcome to matter.
