Very large and well fed Sturgeon Paralysed ?

    Hi all,
I do hope someone can help.

We have 40000L/8000g pond, well filters and very well aerated, low stocked with Koi and 2 large sturgeon (at least 4’), sturgeon eat well and are a good chunky size.
Yesterday morning we came down and one was on its back and we assumed dead, but it was still breathing, so we put it in the QT and have ramped up the salt to 0.75 (worth a try we thought).
it still alive the morning but hasn’t moved all night, when I touch him, there’s no or very little reaction, other than a little twitch, eyes are still moving, and it looks like he is paralysed.
he does have a Small sore on it’s head which we have never noticed before, so we are guessing that he has jumped and knocked its head, but that is just wild guess.
while transporting we did a scrape and found nothing, and no other wounds.
Pond parameters are good and stable, not treatments added in the last 6 weeks.

    Any thoughts ?

    Cheers

    How's the Sturgeon doing?

It does sound as though it's clonked it's head pretty badly.

You've not put any treatments in the pond recently have you?

Ah just seen you'd said you haven't put any treatments in.
