new sturgeon
hi i have just brought 4 /12ins sturgeon 2 albino and 2 white tipped sterlets ,they are in a400gallon quarantine tank with its own bead filter ,with used beads taken from my koi filter ,my return from the bead filter is through a venturi which produces lots of flow and air bubbles, i am not sure if i should ad air also .and should i use a trickle in for water changes and are they as important as in the koi pond ,

How big is the pond they will be going into? They won't be ok in that small tank for very long.
You need to use an air pump with air stones in addition to what you already have. Sturgeon have a very high oxygen requirement compared to koi.
