On my 3rd window pond, never had it that low but as long as rain water runs away can't see a problem, maybe dirt splashing up when it rains? only thing I have found is not having the window deeper...

More the fact its an acute curve, so had to cut deep into the blocks, to save money got straight glass, think it will be well worth it though, if you go curved glass it will be more straightforward....
