I would have used egg crate, but I get a lot of leaves in the autumn and wanted to give the skimmer a chance to pull them in. So I went with this as it has more chance to let the leaves through.

I finally got around to fitting the drum yesterday, and as I havn't had time to do the upgrade to gravity fed I'm currently still pump fed. I swapped the sensors over to the dirty side of the drum...

5 days after treating pond, did 3 scrapes this...
5 days after treating pond, did 3 scrapes this evening and nothing found. Fluke solve seems to have done the trick. :)

I treated pond yesterday, koi got a bit more...
I treated pond yesterday, koi got a bit more lively but the sturgeon didnt react at all. Do I wait 3-4 days then scrape again, and then re-treat in 3 weeks?

It may be a daft question as I know skimmers are usually set up with a pump, but can they be gravity fed?
Potentially looking to convert to 4" and feed into my drum :confused:
