Fire away mate, I won’t be insulted. Don’t go so low that other people gazump you though
Where abouts are you? I would rather you pick it up than me shipping it. I’m just outside Grantham.

PH controllers
The dosing pump is nothing special, I think it was a washing machine one that I built a box around.
The 4040 is in a stainless steel case and was only used for a few months before I decided to try no RO.
The controller is a Thermo Scientific Alpha pH 560
The Probe is a Sentek PI11/PR100/5M CFE but has been sat in pond water for two or three years. It’s a good one so I’d have thought it will calibrate ok but I really can’t be sure.
There are a few other bits and pieces I’m sure like timers, powered valves, tank for the bicarbonate solution etc. You can have any of them I can find!

The controller and 4040 are just what I am looking for,the ph probe is anyone guess to how good it is,but it is the one I was going to use.
just a case of haggling over money your looking for, willing to travel

How about £400 for the membrane, membrane holder (I’m sure there’s a proper name for them!), controller, probe and dosing pump so you know where you are and we haggle over the other stuff if you want it (and if I can find much) when you’re here? I might even have flow meters and an online TDS meter.

I am happy to do that ,any other bits for the R.O. would be good as well.
would you prefer cash or bank transfer?

Same as your normal RO but instead of using a flow restrictor I use a tap “circled in the middle of the photo” the solenoid valve is controlled by a timer to open for 1 min during each hour the 40/40 membrane is running.
