Ken Alexander Fibreglassing
Really pleased with the results and can’t wait to fill it up! Ken came highly recommended and didn’t disappoint. I had several quotes and Ken’s was the best, freely contactable for advice and very flexible on fitting in the work (I’d had some issues with water ingress). Nick who works with Ken is clearly also very knowledgable on all things fibreglass.
Being a round pond its been a challenge and adding Celotex I didn’t get on at all with grip adhesive, opting to use the round plastic fixings instead, I thought these may show but needn’t have worried as they quickly became invisible. Fibreglassing looks easy, but clearly it’s made to look easy by the professionals! The other thing that’s very noticeable is the seal round bottom drain, pipe work and skimmer. I would highly recommend Ken and his team.

Snap.
That looks spiffing, obviously Ken didn't lose the knack over the weekend (he fettled mine on Friday last)
I haven't seen the finished job in the flesh as I had to leave for holiday while Ken was still busy, however I have seen a video which pans round the interior of the pond so perhaps Ken or Algarth (who forwarded the video to me) might like to post it here. (Blowed if I know how and have a dodgy internet connection in the caravan)
I did see the temporary pergola in use at my place - how on earth Ken keeps so cheerful in our totally unpredictable weather I'm blowed if I know!
