Jeboa 12000dc pump
Hi I thought I would share my experience with the company Fish Street.
I received a 12000 dc pump June 2014 didn't use until June 2015 plugged in found power lead faulty changed that for a kettle lead started pump found impeller housing had hairline cracks contacted them they wanted pic of part ordered part when part came wrong one. They said I ordered wrong one .After loads of emails they said if I send £10 they would send the right one two weeks ago I received message item shipped. Today I sent email where is part no stock. They offered me an upgrade to the 12000dct for £62 a discount of £13 I think I will pass on that one and put it all down to bad experience.
Rant over Steve.

Sorry to hear that Steve, I have had 2 pumps from fishstreet, a dc12000 like yours and the newer dct both pumps have been running absolutely fine with no issues. The older dc12000 has been going constantly dry mounted for over 2 years now.
There appears to be some confusion over whether you should run them dry mount but mine have been absolutely fine. Great little pumps in my opinion. I have heard of the mains lead not being good before, but easily got round with a kettle lead as you describe.
By the same token there are reports on this and other forums about the pumps being good and fishstreet being the cheapest supplier by far. Guess you have just been unlucky

Have to say I am in the same camp, I bought a DC12000 last year and had the same problems with the impeller housing. I did however manage to get a replacement part from Fish Street, sadly though it still leaks so I use it only as a sump pump when needed.
I have since bought the newer model DCT12000 and it is a much better design and has a stronger housing too. Have had it running as my main return pump for a couple of months and its great
Cheers,
S.

Its always worth knowing if somebody has/is having a bad experience with warranties etc, We need an even unbiased understanding to make a correct judgement.
I've a dct15000 still in the box and never used .... Hopefully never will

Hi, I bought one of these pumps last year but not used it, when I ordered the 12000 I was told after I paid sorry none in stock but they could send me a credit note,
I replied no I don't want a credit note as I have never bought anything off you and don't think I will do again, a few days later the pump arrived, after seeing this post just checked my pump and it's a DCT, hope it works if I ever need it.
Regards Geoff
