Lovely fish! Is this a cuttlebrook fish? They have just released a load as of 10am, some really nice ISA bloodline Showa on there.

It seems that KASANEZUMI is also preferred here. Please take an interest in SHOWA, which has SUMI on SHIROJI next time!!
SHIROJI is the white skin on the koi, KASANEZUMI is the black on the red of the koi. Interestingly to me, whilst I don't really understand the nature of the comment from the poster, as we all know, Showa develop over time, especially the Sumi, so this fish could look very different even in 6 months.
My recently purchased Isa showa has got sumi coming through on the nose which was completely white when I got her delivered just over a month ago. Selecting showa at a young age is difficult even for the highly trained eye if you are trying to pick show koi, which has not been mentioned at any point, making the posters comment completely void.
I would simply ignore it and continue enjoying the beautiful fish you have selected which caught your eye and is going in your pond! I for one am jealous as a lover of Showa, and I like most pick koi which are attractive to me which I believe is the most important thing! Make sure you post regular pictures of it progressing as it will be eye opening!
