Does anyone know how to stick pebbles to plastic in a pond?
I have a pond that is quite central to my garden, and it has no shade for the fish. So last year I split a water bowser in half, then I cut the bottom off the bowser and laid it on the bottom of the pond - so as to create an underwater bridge. The fish have lived under the bridge through the winter, it’s a great place for them to retreat to.
The problem is the bridge looks like a water bowser that has been split in half and had the bottom cut off. Ideally I would like to stick pebbles to the top of the bridge, but I am not sure what to use to do this. It may be as simple as a glue or sealant, but I don’t know.
I was hoping someone more informed than I would point me in the right direction, and really would appreciate any advice.

These days you can also buy sheets of liner with stones set in. I think the idea is to lay them on the pond floor rather that substrate.
That should stick on with goldseal or similar
