How much sunlight is ideal?
I have a grow on in my garage so it doesn’t get natural sunlight at all. Iv brought a artificial light to sort this, I’m going to set it on a timer. What is the ideal amount? I’d imagine from sort of 7am until around 8-9 pm. What are your thoughts?
Cheers Kye

I got a sunlight LED turn it on at 06.00 when I get up off at 22.00.
Seems to keep little ones happy enough

I would set it according to what temperature you are maintaining- so if you’ve got good growth temps of 23C plus then 12 hours of light would be fine. The light needs to be at the right wavelength though- so not all lighting setups will be equal. I don’t know very much about the details of this personally as I don’t have a grow on and I only light the pond in the evening for my own enjoyment.
