    G4 sealer and fiberglass

    Hi again more info needed 😂
    My pond is rendered and smooth I am going to put g4 sealer on i struggle with time so am I right in thinking if it dries u have to sand it down to then put another coat on to then fiberglass while it is still tacky

    The fibreglass mat can go straight on the render, no G4 required.

    So if g4 already been applied it would have to be sanded down before next step wouldn't it

    Yes, the resin will need a key just like painting over old gloss paint in the house.

    When Ken Alexander sparked up my old pond he thoroughly rubbed down the original gel coat before applying any new stuff.
